Chamber Concert by DUO RAÍCES

POSTPONED

new date to be announced

Join us for a unique Chamber Concert featuring piano and flute as Dúo Raíces highlights the richness and diversity of their Latin American musical heritage.

Formed during their graduate studies at Western Michigan University, Sara Araujo Gutierrez and Lessly Altamirano - O’Leary  bring together the rich musical traditions of Mexico and Ecuador. Pianist Sara, from Mexico, and flutist Lessly, from Ecuador, discovered a shared passion for creating beautiful and innovative music. Their collaboration blends their diverse cultural backgrounds and classical training, creating a unique and captivating sound that resonates with audiences.

Through their performances, they explore and showcase a wide range of repertoire, including works by underrepresented composers, highlighting the richness and diversity of Latin American musical heritage. Their dynamic and heartfelt interpretations seek to engage and inspire audiences, fostering a greater understanding and love for this unique combination of instruments and the vibrant music of their homelands.
