God provides for the ministry of our church through your tithes and offerings and your gifts are honored with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and accountability to our lead team and denomination. It’s more than keeping the lights on and the gears turning; it’s about personal worship to God and handing Him back what He already owns…and it’s about lives changing through the transformative power of the Gospel in our region and beyond.

But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?

Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”

GIVE

Other ways to give

God’s Word calls us to obediently “tithe” (give 10%) of what He gives us, to do His kingdom work. “Offerings” given to God are gifts above and beyond our tithes. Tithes and offerings are vital to the health of Our Church and provide for all the areas of ministry and outreach.

OUR GOAL IS 100% PARTICIPATION in giving to the Generous Future.

 

That might mean being lavishly generous or simply sacrificial…like sacrificing a fast food meal once a week and giving that cost to the Generous Future fund. What you give should be decided between you and God, and ask that you give in some way from a worshipful heart.

Prayerfully consider:

 

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart what to give, not reluctantly of under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”


We are asking that you prayerfully support and sacrificially give to fulfill God’s vision for the future of our Church. Come along side and be part of the next phase of our miraculous story, and prepare to be blessed.

MINISTRY

SHARES

Our church contributes to the larger United Methodist Church and the Michigan Conference through Ministry Shares. The amount is based on a "tithe" of our income. Ministry Shares fund many helping and missional arms of the UMC. United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is a first-line response to natural or other disasters. United Methodist Board of Global Ministries (UMBGM) is our Missionaries around the globe. United Methodist Board of Higher Education and Ministries (UMBHEM) is support of our colleges and seminaries, through scholarships. 

Ministry Shares also supports our conference staff and Bishop's office. Additionally we have a Greater Southwest District Ministry Shares that support more local ministry and our District Office.

We have a strong tradition of sharing 100% of our contribution to this vital ministry.

MEMORIAL

GIFTS

For those who wish to contribute in the name and memory of a loved one, you can give directly to the church in their name. Our Memorial Committee uses these memorial gifts to enhance the church, often for improvements in our sanctuary, or worship. 

Our Memorial Committee communicates with the family of the departed and shares your gift.
